Rigid sports suspension will be fitted to the Swift Sport, signifies that the car will sit lower than regular models, dropping body roll and helping it feel more lively. It’ll target the Ford Fiesta ST when it goes on sale, so we expect it to handle well and feel planted on the road.

The Swift Sport has a large, five-spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels and low-profile tyres. The headlights, door mirrors and ‘floating’ roof have all been passed over from the rest of the range, and the rear door handles are hidden in the C pillar for a coupe-like exterior.

Interior
It’s hard to slip-up the Swift Sport’s interior for a standard model. There’s lots of sporty red trim, red distinction in stitching and glowing red dials, as well as aluminium-effect pedals.

Gloss black inserts and the colorful centre console add a little premium feel, even though some of the plastics look abrasive and hard. Sporty bucket seats help stop the driver from being thrown around in fast corners.Swift Sport comes with
