Overview
Helmet violation would be tougher for motorbike riders. During a today hearing case, Lahore High Court (LHC) hinted the Lahore City Traffic Police increasing fines for not wearing helmets. Motorbike riders who violate helmet rules would be paying Rs. 5000. Justice Shahid Kareem remarks a comment “imposing a heavy fine will make everything all right”.
The current fine for helmet violation is Rs. 2000 but still, it seems the citizens have no care for and violate rules. The new rule for motorbike riders would strict them to wear helmets or pay a hefty amount of fine.
Campaign For Helmet Awareness
The court has passed the order to start an awareness campaign for helmet-wearing for the next 10 days and then appliance new rules.
A helmet is necessary for a motorbike. there are several times City Traffic Police has enhanced the rules and made it strict for motorbike riders to strict they follow the rules. To make helmets necessary they started a campaign of “No Helmet No Petrol”. This objective has made some changes but not everyone follows the rules.
As per the report, in the last nine days, Lahore Traffic Police has issued 152,888 challans to motorcyclists not wearing helmets. Traffic Police have been keeping hard eyes on the roads and never condone a single person violating helmet rules. This campaign has been started to develop awareness of rules.

After the CTO orders of crackdown against helmet violations at all corners of Lahore. The Traffic Police department has given their best and perform an excellent job on this awareness campaign. The rising accident causes are majorly caused by motorcyclists. It’s necessary to undergo this operation to control rising accident cases day by day.
