Japanese automaker Toyota’s luxury brand Lexus has announced a plan to produce full battery-electric vehicles globally by the year 2035. By then, Lexus expects to sell 100,000 vehicles annually and will eventually become the Toyota Motor North American electric brand.
Lexus Revealed Electric Vehicle Concept:

According to the press release, Toyota president Akio Toyoda revealed electric concepts that preview upcoming production models. He said more EVs will join the Lexus brand lineup in the coming years. As part of the plan, the company showed off several dozen concept vehicles, including sedans, sports cars, crossovers, SUVs, pickup trucks, and even a few boxy shuttles.
Upcoming Lexus EVs Lineup:

The company has yet to release many official details about the electric vehicle. Toyota’s luxury unit Lexus Electrified Vision will offer a complete lineup of hybrid electric vehicles (HEV), battery electric vehicles (BEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) by 2023. The highlight of the Lexus concepts is the Electrified Sport concept, the company informed that a planned Lexus sports car will have a cruising range of 700 km and will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than two seconds..com
2023 Lexus RZ 450 Launch:


The company also expected to be launch its first long-range EV Lexus RZ 450e fully-electric SUVs in mid-2022. The 2023 Lexus RZ 450 is Toyota’s luxury brand’s Lexus first global battery EV (BEV). The Lexus RZ is an all-wheel drive electric SUV that equipped with advanced safety technology. It will come with a 71.4 kWh battery pack with a driving range of 225 miles. The front electric motors generate 140 kW of power, while the rear is equipped with an 80 kW e-motor. Some new images of the production model also released, showing a smooth front end and plenty of detail at the rear.
