It has been reported that Lahore Traffic Police has decided to take actions against bikers who do not install side mirrors. As according to the details, the authority has announced that it will not let go of any biker if his side of the bike is not equipped with side mirrors. City Traffic Police has given the approximate time till 31st of October 2018 to people to install away with the mirrors on the bike and after the completion of time, the process of the crackdown will begin against violators and harsh penalties will be given in the process.
You will be using the side mirrors as they help you maneuver the vehicle with ease. This initiative has been started by the Captain (r) Liaqat Ali Malik CTO Lahore in a public service message. It has been mentioned a way that the authority just as after receiving the Lahore High Court’s orders, is going as to be after people who are not wearing a helmet while at the course of the riding a bike and also taking strict action against under-age drivers. Additionally, in the coming few days, the traffic police will also issue tickets if the pillion is not wearing a helmet as to be whether its a man, woman or a child.
Lahore Police is set to make the plan to make the city’s traffic more safe and secure. Plus it has been introduced a number of regulatory changes just as to improve its control over the metropolitan traffic. As according to the latest changes, the Lahore authorities have made it compulsory for the purpose of the citizens to re-install rear-view side mirrors on top of their motorcycles, and also those who fail to comply will be penalized.
The change will be happening to hence take a week or so to be put in effect. In this way, the citizens can take notice and so as for prepare themselves for the city’s new law. This will be fully implemented starting 1st of November. Motorcycles riders with the absence of the no side-mirrors will face heavy fines after the 31st of October. Plus the citizens should install side-view mirrors in their motorcycles as to ensure safety, so as to maneuver with the sake of the ease in harsh traffic.
Lahore authorities at the same time have started a crackdown to inflict greater control over the side of the motorcyclists all along with other commuters who fail to comply with the region’s traffic laws.
The authorities also started on with the issuing e-challans using the method of Punjab Safe City surveillance cameras. Any person who hence, on the whole, violates a traffic signal will be sent a digital e-challan after his/her vehicle’s number plate that gets scanned by any camera while ignoring a traffic signal.
