Toyota was founded in 1937 in Japan and currently is one of the biggest auto manufacturer brands all over the world. In Pakistan, Toyota started its business in 1989 with the name of Toyota Indus. It is a joint venture of House of Habib, Toyota Tsusho, and Toyota Motors. Their auto manufacturing plant in Pakistan is based in Port Bin Qasim Industrial Zone in Karachi. Since its establishment in 1989 Toyota has sold around 900,000 CKD and CBU units. From a low start about 20 vehicles/ day now, they have a capacity of around 268 units/day. This was made possible with the full determination and hard work of Toyota Employees.

Today we are going to compare the KIA Stonic and Toyota Corolla Altis X.

Altis X was launched in 2021 and Toyota has added many new features to their Altis X.

The state-of-the-art New Toyota Corolla Altis X Grande is powered by a 1.8liter inline 4-cylinder dual VVTI petrol engine which produces power of 138Hp and a torque of 173Nm. It is controlled with a 7-speed CVT-I transmission. It offers paddle shifters and sequential shifting. It also has a sports mode along with fuel efficiency benefits to enhance the driving experience.

They have added a very stylish new exterior which makes the Toyota Corolla Altis X wider and bulkier. The new styling focuses on a very attractive look. The rear bumper now has a wider black lining over it which along with protecting the body also gives it a more dashing and eye-catching look. It looks like a stock body kit is installed in the vehicle. This helps to control the vehicle during turns to avoid skidding of the vehicle. This vehicle has ABS with EBD (Electronic braking distribution) and BA (Brake Assist). With the help of EBD, we can get a better braking performance and vehicle control while the Brake Assist helps to apply pressure on brakes if the passenger gets depressed during a panic situation. KIA Stonic

Kia Stonic is still to be launched in Pakistan but hopes fully it will be launched with full preparation of fighting with existing brands in Pakistan Market.

In Pakistan Kia, Stonic will come with a 1.4liter MPI Engine which will produce a power of 100hp and will give a torque of 133Nm and it will be controlled by a six-speed Automatic transmission which will transfer the power of the engine to the front wheels

It has an aggressive look with the signature Kia Grille between dual-function headlamps. Below the grille, there is a wider air intake that sucks the air to cool down the engine and on the sides of bumpers, there are two air intakes that help to flow the air through wheels to cut the turbulence and to cool down the brakes. Alon with this aerodynamic front it has bi-projection headlamps, Bridge-type roof rails, Rear LED Brake lamps, electronically controlled side mirrors with flickers, aero blade wipers that maintain contact with the windscreen even at high speeds. And on the rear side, it has a very beautiful aerodynamic skid plate which not only looks beautiful but also saves the body and fuel tank from scrapes.
