Overview
It looks like local car makers took the increase of 1% in GST very seriously. After Hyundai KIA prices increased, this is the third price hike just in 10 days This time KIA updated all its car prices with new rates.
There is no reason cited by KIA Lucky Motors about this aggression of price change. The continuous price jump caused fewer sales but automakers have only one reason behind all this “devaluation of PKR value and taxes imposed by government”.
Few days before the government announced the change of General Sales Tax (GST) from 17% to 18%. Including all other companies KIA also increased prices according to 1% but this one percent change in tax is an excuse for back-to-back high prices.
New KIA Car Prices
KIA announced the new prices in a notification and mentioned terms & conditions.
KIA Stonic New Priceg
- After an increase of Rs. 58,000 KIA Stonic EX new price is Rs. 4,900,000.
- KIA Stonic EX+ now cost you Rs. 5,400,000 against the old rate of Rs. 5,295,000
New Price of KIA Picanto
- Picanto M/T used to cost Rs. 3,228,000 but now costs you Rs. 3,300,000.
- Meanwhile, KIA Picanto A/T is now available for Rs. 3,550,000 instead of Rs. 3,430,000.
KIA Carnival Updated Price
KIA Carnival is no more for Rs. 15,129,000 because after the price jump it reaches to Rs. 15,650,000.
Updated KIA Sorento Price
All three variants of Sorento received price jumps.
- Sorento 2.4L FWD updated price cut the old rate of Rs. 8,472,000 and reach Rs. 9,000,000.
- Sorento 2.4 AWD was also available for Rs. 9,178,000 a few days ago but now whooping Rs. 9,800,000.
- This price change makes Sorento 2.4L AWD and Sorento 3.5L FWD at the same panel both cars now cost Rs. 9,800,000. Meanwhile, the Sorento 3.5L FWD price changed by Rs. 622,000
Terms & Conditions

- Customers who cleared the full payment as of February 28, 2023, will not be considered to pay the new price change KIA Lucky Motors has announced.
- All orders listed from 1st March 2023 will be considered on new car rates.
- Car prices are mentioned exclusive of freight and insurance charges.
- If any new taxes or duties imposed by the government will be applicable to the customer at the time of delivery.
- All bookings registered from 1st March 2023 will be considered under Price Lock, conditional on stock availability.
- KIA has reserved the right to reverse the price lock at any time and the price lock is for a temporary time period.
