Overview
On its official social media website, Kia Lucky Motor Corporation (KLMC) previewed two new vehicles. The vehicles in the discussion are the KIA Stinger and the KIA Niro EV.
KLMC announced these cars as part of its marketing campaign in late 2020 as well. The collection of mentioned cars plus a Sorento, all wrapped in #WeAreUnstoppable livery, created quite a sensation on the internet.
Now, the corporation appears to be planning a “special launch” in Pakistan to officially introduce the cars.

- Kia Motors Clifton, Karachi => January 10-13
- Kia Motors Society, Eissa Nagri, Karachi => January 14-18

Kia Niro EV
KIA Niro is going to build tough competition in the auto sector. It competes with automobiles such as the Honda HR-V, Toyota RAV4, and other competitors on the market.
The Niro EV, which offers two engine options, was previewed by the corporation.
- A single electric motor drives the front wheels with 130 horsepower (hp) and 394 (Nm) of torque.
- A single electric motor produces 201 horsepower and 394 Newton meters of torque at the front wheels.
The 130 hp model includes a 39.2 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that provides a range of 288 kilometers on a single charge. The 64 kWh lithium-ion batteries pack in the 201 horsepower variant delivers a range of 385 kilometers on a full charge.
Expected Price Niro EV
Globally, the Niro EV has been priced at approximately Rs. 7.5 million, but no information on its price in Pakistan is available at this moment.
Kia Stinger Sedan
Kia Stinger is one of Korea’s giants. It is classified as a super-sedan and is compared to the Alfa Romeo Giulia, Mercedes AMG C Class, BMW 3 Series, and also other sports sedans.
It also comes with two engine variants:
Theta II 2.0 T-GDI engine
- A Theta II 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine with 251 hp and 353 Nm of torque.
Lambda 3.3 T-GDI engine
- A Lambda 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine with 368 hp and 510 Nm of torque.
Both engines use an 8-speed automatic transmission to transfer power to the rear wheels or all four wheels (depending on the market).
Expected Price Stinger
Globally, the standard form of the Stinger costs roughly Rs. 8.5 million, while the V6 variant costs a stunning Rs. 11.8 million. Given the present economic, tax, and pricing trends in Pakistan, this price is likely to be significantly higher.
South Korean Media
While this is wonderful news, KLMC is, as is customary, a little late. Kia will drop Stinger in the foreign market in April 2023. According to recent South Korean media. Moreover, as previously said, it has already released an entirely new Niro model in other markets.
