KIA increased car prices due to the addition of the FED tax. Under the mini-budget government has announced a 2.5% FED tax on cars up to 1300cc. This time it is very clear that automakers are forced by the government to increase car prices. Pakistan’s automobile industry is not a stable condition for a couple of years. KIA Car Prices 2022
KIA introduced a line of SUVs in Pakistan with low prices as compared to other automakers but now the prices have been increased due to the taxes and unstable rate of the dollar. Here are the updated KIA car prices 2022:
KIA Picanto
KIA Picanto is a 1000cc car and very popular hatchback car in Pakistan. The company has offered two variants of KIA Picanto in Pakistan:
- KIA Picanto M/T price jumped from Rs 2,050,000 to Rs 2,186,000
- KIA Picanto A/T price increased from Rs 2,150,000 to Rs 2,292,000
KIA Sportage
KIA Sportage is an SUV car that is very popular in Pakistan. The company has offered its three variants in Pakistan and all are affected by the new price increase:
- KIA Sportage Alphas’ old price was Rs 4,650,000 and now it’s available at Rs 4,764,000
- KIA Sportage FWD price increase from Rs 5,150,000 to Rs 5,276,000
- KIA Sportage AWD is now costs you Rs 5,788,000 and the old price was Rs5,650,000
KIA Stonic
KIA Stonic is available in two variants and both prices increased due to FED tax:
- KIA Stonic EX new price is Rs 3,750,000 and the old price was Rs Rs 3,660,000
- KIA Stonic EX+ price increased from Rs 3,880,000 to Rs 3,975,000
KIA Sorento
The company has not increased the price of KIA Sorento and tried to increase its sale by offering a special discount. However, the vehicle is also affected by the FED tax but the company tries to compensate its customer by offering the car at a low rate. You can buy KIA Sorento at the previous rate. Here are the prices of KIA Sorento variants:
- KIA Sorento 2.4L FWD price is PKR 6,836,000
- KIA Sorento 2.4L AWD price is PKR 7,499,000
- KIA Sorento 3.5L FWD price is Rs 7,499,000

By following the mini-budget and being restricted to pay FED to the government automakers are forced to increase car prices. Pakistan’s automobile industry is on the survival stage right now.
