Traffic police have taken this step to facilitate the public during the monsoon season and to maintain a smooth flow of traffic in the city.

Monsoon rains have started in Pakistan. During this monsoon season, the citizens may face difficulty in traveling due to the severe traffic situation in the city. During this difficult time, the police have stepped in to provide free vehicle repair services for the convenience of the citizens to ensure the smooth flow of traffic in the city.
According to the new report, Deputy Director General (DIG) Ahmad Nawaz spoke with the media about this move and revealed. The department has sent out 26 patrol cars throughout the city with basic repair equipment to fix minor car problems. Meanwhile, these traffic police cars have stationed around major highways and other locations.
The special police cars will provide a variety of standard vehicle repairing facilities. It includes fixing punctured tires, Reflating the deflated tires, towing a car, jump-starting a car, car fires extinguishers. They provide Refueling services for cars and motorcycles that have run out of fuel and will not be able to make it to the next gas station. The patrol car will also provide some other basic fixes for the vehicles.
Madadgar 15:
This new service introduced by the Special Security Unit of the Karachi Police has linked to Madadgar 15. In the case of an emergency, citizens can call the Karachi Police Madadgar helpline at 15 and get their vehicles repaired. Thus, Citizens can contact Madadgar 15 staff for help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by dialing 15.
