Shigeki Furuta the Chief Representative of Japan International Cooperate Agency (JICA) visit Pakistan to enhance the production of cars and launch their cars in Pakistan to support the Pakistan auto sector. JICA called a meeting with Abdul Razaq Dawood the adviser of Prime Minister on Commerce, textile, industries & Production and Investment.
In this meeting, the chief of JICA and Abdul Razaq Dawood discuss the growth of the Pakistan auto sector and the step taken to promote the auto sector of Pakistan with the latest safety features cars.
Shigeki Furuta shows his interest in the Pakistan auto sector to promote and produce cars in Pakistan. They discussed all the ups and down Pakistan auto sector face the decline rate of Pakistan currency against the dollar and the taxes and duties imposed on the auto sector by the Federal Excise Department of Pakistan. The team discussed that from the last 6-month the local auto sector faces a loss in sales the vehicle sales down because of the high duties and taxes. The local car manufacturer depressed in this situation because of the sales of the car never down before like this.
This meeting team discusses how to boost the auto sector of Pakistan and increase the sales of local car production and they also discuss to install the latest safety features and latest techniques in the locally assembled cars.
JICA highlighted that “ they will support Pakistan for developing and established the infrastructure of new and used vehicles with the advanced safety features”.
The adviser of prime minister Abdul Razaq Dawood said that this new entrance will beneficial for the investment purpose of Pakistan and will help to grow the economy and it also grows the auto sector with providing an advance safety features cars in the auto industry.
