A subsidiary of the Stellantis multinational automotive group, India Jeep has introduced its new SUV Meridian jeep in India with introductory prices at RS. 29.9 lakh. It is the company’s first three-row SUV that has been specifically built and engineered for India.
Jeep Meridian Variants and Price:
Firstly, Jeep Median is available in five variants, including an all-wheel-drive version, with prices starting at Rs 29.9 lakh and rising to Rs 36.95 lakh at launch. Head of Jeep India Nipun J Mahajan stated in a virtual address announcing the prices that the company had received over 67,000 queries and almost 5,000 expressions of interest even before its bookings started.

Jeep Meridian Body Looks:
Meridian is based on the Compass, but it’s not just an extended version with fresh style and body panels. The face of the jeep has a trademark seven slate grille with huge LED headlights and LED DRLs lights on both sides. Meanwhile, It has an 18-inch alloy wheel solid chrome bar that has integrated with the bumper and air dams. Hence, the jeep has strong geometric lines around it that give it a stunning look.

Meridian has a premium cabin with a brown colored fresh and spacious interior. Powertrain:
The Meridian has powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine, that produces 170 horsepower at 3,750 rpm and 350 Nm of torque. Moreover, jeep includes a six-speed manual transmission and a nine-speed automatic transmission gearbox. In addition, the vehicle also offers both 4×2 and 4×4 choices. It provides 16.2 Kilometers per liter diesel mileage.
