Toyota has updated the 12th generation JDM Toyota Corolla variations, including the sedan, wagon, and hatchback, with a facelift more than 3 years after their debut in the Japanese domestic market. The 12th generation JDM Corolla variations debuted for the first time in in Japan September 2019. In Japan, the 12th generation Corolla continues to be available in three body types: the Corolla (sedan), Corolla Touring (wagon), and Corolla Sport (hatchback). All three receive featuring mild stylistic, technological, and equipment updates in the facelift versions.
JDM Toyota Corolla Facelift:

Revised JDM Corolla sedan facelift updated with the LED DRL trademark that now united as a single part rather than being divided as it was previously. The Levin marketed in China has a similar face to the Corolla and Corolla Touring, but the massive lower intake on JDM variants has horizontal bars rather than honeycomb slots. Corolla Sport (hatchback) receives a more expressive front apron with more noticeable fog lamp surrounds and an arrow-themed insert for its lower intake which is similar to the Corolla hatchback available in European and North American markets. All three models still have nearly the same side profile and rear end as the vehicles from before the facelift.
Latest Inside Look:

When it comes to the interior, the interior design remains the same, but the infotainment systems have improved. There are still two display sizes available, the 10.5-inch Display Audio Plus and the 8-inch Display Audio, both of which now enable wired Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay.
Safety-wise, the Toyota Safety Sense pre-crash system has enhanced with junction assistance, enabling the detection of oncoming vehicles. Additionally, it also includes Proactive Driving Assist, which helps the driver steer and brake to prevent getting it too close to bicyclists, pedestrians, and parked cars.
Powertrain and Performance:

All three body styles come with a hybrid powertrain that consists of an Atkinson-cycle 2ZR-FXE 1.8L four-cylinder engine that produces 98 hp of horsepower and 142 Nm of torque, which joined by a powerful 1VM electric motor. The hybrid powertrain comes with an e-CVT to send drive to the front wheels, although the Corolla and Corolla Touring can also equipped with the all-wheel drive system E-Four, which adds a rear 1WM electric motor with 40 horsepower and 84 Nm of torque.
The Corolla and Corolla Touring receive a new 1.5L Dynamic Force naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine in addition to the updated hybrid powertrain. The most recent Sienta as well as the Yaris and Yaris Cross already have the M15A-FKS powertrain installed, which produces 120 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque and paired with Toyota’s Direct Shift-CVT transmission. While the Corolla Sport hatchback also gets a Dynamic Force engine to replace the previous 8NR-FTS 1.2L turbocharged four-cylinder unit. In Japan, the Corolla sedan facelift is priced from 1.99 to 2.998 million yen (PKR 31.16 lakh to PKR 46.94 lakh), while the Corolla Touring price starts from 2.07 to 3.048 million yen (PKR 32.47 to PKR 47.47) and the Corolla Touring price between from 2.2 to 2.89 million yen. million yen (PKR 34.45 lakh and PKR 45.25 lakh).
