Islamabad Traffic Police issue a fines collected report of this year. ITP issued 58,622 tickets to the different traffic police workers for the violators of traffic rules and they collect Rs. 10.29 million revenue from this.
Recently Islamabad Traffic Police take strict action against the violation of traffic law and started a campaign in May 2019 to impose a fine who violate the traffic rule for the purpose is to maintain the smooth traffic system in the city. Traffic Police said that they find the common thing people do is not wearing a helmet while bike riding not wearing a seat belt while car driving and use mobile phones while driving. In the fine list mostly people are avoiding the safety rules and that why they pay a fine for it.
According to the details, the total fine tickets imposed on people who are not wearing helmet are 27, 609 and the fine collected from these issued tickets is Rs. 27, 60, 900, and the tickets issued on who are not wearing seat belts are 14,998 and the amount collected from these issues tickets is 44, 99,400. The total tickets issues on lane violation were 11, 684 and the amount collected from it is Rs. 35,05,200.
After this step, the traffic system of Islamabad city is much batter then before now people have knowledge about the violation of the law and knows the fine of violation of traffic rules that’s why they follow the traffic rules. The government also installed electronic CCTV Cameras for generating automatic tickets. Islamabad Traffic Police try their best for maintaining a smooth traffic system in the city and aware people about the traffic rules.
