In the meeting of the Islamabad Excise Department and Safe City Project, they discuss the Radio Frequency Identification vehicle registration plates. Authorities finalize the project as this can help to meet the international standards and stop activities related to terrorism. Authorities sent the RFID proposal to the Interior Ministry for approval.

According to the details, the Interior Ministry and Excise Department discuss that the plan for launching Uniform Registration Plates in Pakistan is not possible because of some complications, but we can take this step.
Interior Ministry passes the orders to work on this project and soon to introduce it in Islamabad. If this plan gives successful results from Pakistan authorities have the plan to introduce all over the country. RFID number plates help the authorities to recognize the vehicle owner and registration and toke tax.
The registration plates issued by the excise department of Islamabad are recognizing and reading by the CCTV’s of Islamabad Safe City Project.
The Interior Ministry and Excise Department have a plan for the centralization of database vehicle registration so that every province has access to centralize data. The RFID vehicle registration plates will be installed at the front windscreen of the vehicle. The RFID vehicle registration plates already used globally.
