The degradation of law and order in Islamabad may be gauged by the fact that the police, itself is subject to thieves. As a police officer’s vehicle parked in a police station parking lot has been taken.
The vehicle of police officer Mohammad Nadeem was stolen outside. Police Station Koral in the presence of police officers stationed at the entrance near to the car parking area.
Such cases of police officers’ cars and bikes being stolen have been occurring, causing alarm among the people. They see police officers as their saviors from criminals.
Police Station Koral has filed a complaint against the unknown thieves.
Amazingly, the event happened in front of the Koral Police Station. Just next to the entrance that leads to the parking lot, and in the presence of guards posted at the gate. It was not stated in the report whether or not the area was being watched by CCTV.
