Islamabad Local Government To Revive Toll Plazas

The local government of Islamabad Has taken a decision to revive the toll plazas at the enter and exit points of Islamabad.

The Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad MCI has taken this decision to reopen the Toll Plazas because they have decided to generate the funds from there and use them in civic duties in the city. The Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad has taken this decision during the 33rd session of IMC.



The government of Islamabad has eliminate toll tax incentives for the minister and senator but now they have also pay toll tax too as like general public.

Moreover, the National Highway Authority also launched the iOS app to help the commuters easily access especially the region-based details and fiscal policy of both ongoing and completed projects of National Highway Authority. Authority’s also upgrade the toll plazas facilities for both service areas motorways and highways and facilitate them with commuters and more benefits.
