Islamabad Anti-Car Lifting Cell Recovers Stolen Cars And Bikes

Anti-Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) of Islamabad Police has on the best recovered 77 cars and 14 motorbikes stolen from different cities, just as besides 16 non custom paid vehicles and arresting 74 suspects during the last six months . According to a senior police official there has been the amount of total of 77 cars were recovered out of which 54 were stolen from Islamabad as while 23 others were stolen from other districts. Furthermore, out of the total 14 motorbikes that have been recovered by the ACLC, six were stolen from the federal capital and there were almost eight were stolen from other cities.

Islamabad Anti-Car Lifting department had raided different parts of Islamabad and other districts and recovered 77 cars and so as the 14 bikes during the last six months. The authority is taking some of the excellent and strict actions to make the capital and its surrounding areas about the crime free and provide a safe and sound living to the people. Islamabad Anti-Car lifting as apart from recovering cars and bikes, has also arrested 74 individuals allegedly involved in car/bike lifting just as the course of over the period of last six months. The anti-car lifting cell has confiscated around 16 non-custom paid car as well. In terms of getting into interaction with the media the police department stated that the police is making all necessary measures to ensure the safety of citizens. The challans of culprits have also been submitted in the courts as well
In addition to this, couple of days the Anti Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) in Karachi arrested two professional bike lifters who had stolen over 2000 motorcycles in the city from the locals. The criminals also claim to have received almost 5000 per each successful bike robbery. In the month of July 2018, Customs Intelligence confiscated eight smuggled heavy bikes from Samanabad area of Lahore. Anti-Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) of Islamabad police has also arrested 52 persons who were after busting 22 criminal gangs during the current year, and has also recovered 114 stolen vehicles as well as 23 motorbikes from them worth Rs77.3 million.

Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Sajid Kiani addressed in the media that the efforts were being made to curb crime in the city and so as to ensure the protection of the lives and property of the citizens. He added that ALCL had often recovered 114 vehicles and also the amount of 23 motorbikes during 2017, and nabbed 124 car lifters whose challans were submitted to courts after completing the investigation on 224 cases.

He said that extra vigilance of ACLC brought more success as it also recovered 10.8 kg drugs, 106 wine bottles, 95 cans of beer and four 30 bore pistols. The vehicles worth Rs77.3 million were recovered while five proclaimed offenders and three court absconders were also arrested, he added. Furthermore most of the recovered vehicles added on with the names of Corolla, Mehran, Honda, Khyber, Suzuki pick ups, Coure and double cabins. Much of the efforts had brought a great reduction in car lifting incidents, and its staff had also sacrificed their lives to curb vehicle theft.
