Introduction
Finally, the wait is over and the Lexus has introduced its all-new 4th generation Lexus LX600 2022. It is introduced after a 14-year wait. Although it is a member of the Toyota New Global Architecture family as it is based on the GA-F platform share its base and most of the mechanics with the new Toyota Landcruiser LC300 However, it has many additional features, along with an emblematic exterior the new LX600 is also 200 kg lighter than its predecessors and it contains amazing interior changes and much additional equipment.
Changes in new LX600
The new LX600 contains the same big shape as the previous one but it has much new addition and modern moldings and detailing and Spindle grille is better fitted on the front and the rear the “Lexus” is replaced with the badge of letter “L”. in its F Sports Model, it has a Black grille and 22” alloy wheels which makes this beast most monstrous.
Engine
The old 5.7L V8 engine is replaced with a new 3.5L V6 twin-turbo engine. This is the same which was introduced in LC300 2022. The power of this machine is transferred to the wheel with the help of a 10-speed automatic transmission. It produces 409Hp and gives a torque of 650Nm. The middle differential can be locked for 50/50 torque division between front and rear wheels.
Interior
In the history of Lexus since its foundation in 1995, this beast got an ultra-luxury grade with foldable rear seats. The rear seats can be leaned back up to 48 degrees which can give an amazing luxury ride while traveling. The front seats can also be folded which will result in extra legroom of 43 inches.
The interior of Lexus LX600 contains amazing and largest upgrades. This unit has 12.3 inches multi-touch screen. The lower part of the screen shows the climate control settings, Multi-terrain selection options but it shows the reflection of the upper screen which shows the camera feed, and the lower one displays the off-road data.
The upper screen shows the off-road data if you are going on an off-road path and it also shows the audio controls and navigation.
This unit also has rear seats entertainment system, rear ac vents, ceiling vents, Sunshades on sides, lights for reading, and curved backrest and headrests.
Interior will be available in 3 color options and those will be Black, White, and Bruno.
Exterior
If we have a look at the exterior then we can see that the sides of the vehicle are a bit identical to the previous model and the addition in this is the spindle grille on the front and LED light on the backside. The company has used chrome wide heartedly on the exterior of the vehicle. This unit comes with the signature triple projector lamp and DRL.
Along with all these features it has 22-inches alloy wheels.
Other features/Safety
The new LX600 has vehicle height adjustment and with the help of this vehicle automatically adjusts its height according to the road conditions. This feature was also present In the previous Lexus but this time it is faster than before. This vehicle has Electronic control Braking system which is electrically controlled and it senses the foot pressure on brake paddles and applies brakes according to that. If we talk about the off-road capability then it has a 25-degree angle for approaching and a 20-degree angle for departure. It can climb up to 45 degrees inclined space. It has all off-road driving mode options like crawl control, multi-terrain selection screen, and multi-terrain selection.
Price:
Now comes the most concerning point of the buyers of this vehicle which is price. The expected Ex-factory price for this vehicle will be around 16,000,000 PKR. Duties and freights are not yet confirmed but we can expect the price around 70-80 million PKR.
