The new Toyota Corolla 2017 facelift is breaking grounds with rather a swirl these days. Toyota Indus has entirely revitalized and rationalized the front of the vehicle along with new brake lights, upgraded alloys, and redesigned dashboard. Along with the more evident outer changes, Toyota is specially spotlighting on the delicate changes it has carries to its interior (dashboard) this time around.

Toyota has to some extent altered the outlook and design of the new model. But be thoughtful that the rest of the interior is quite alike. One word you will be evaluating and inquiry ing lot around the new Corolla is ‘reputation’; it  meant to show that how the new design carry and adds regard to the new car. One can argue that this is fairly skewed, but it is what it is.

Dashboard design and layout of Corolla 2017

Toyota has carried what it is saying a ‘3-dimensional floating design’ to its new dashboard. There is the black bottom surface of the dashboard, then lighter cream colored second layer, and lastly the piano black polished 3rdlayer of the panel on top approximately the center screen and climate control panel. It has been made confident that the combined parts and separation lines are concealed from the passengers and the light colored segment of the dashboard is made up of soft textured stuff. The A/C vents on  left and right have also been redesigned. You now get rounded vents in  place of triangular vents of the retiring model.

Meter panel

Toyota is claiming it has more over improved the meter panel and has supplemented more feature to the whole panel. Two types of meters are obtainable in the Corolla 2017 depending upon the variant of the car.

  1. Analog meter

The XLi and GLi variants will come with a normal analog meter with a packed in LCD in the base of the meter. The LCD display in sequence like an odometer, trip meter, cruising range, fuel average, as well as information like engine temperature, outside temperature and shift position for automatic GLi variant.

  1. Optitron meter

The superior models like 1.6L Altis AT, 1.8L Altis MT, 1.8L Altis CVT-i, 1.8L Altis Grande MT & 1.8L Altis Grande CVT-i will come with Toyota’s newly planned Optitron meter. Toyota has redesigned the graphics of the multi-information display to get the better form of the whole package. You acquire two analog meters (RPM and speedometer) and in the center, you get a 4.2inch TFT display with high definition colors. The TFT display shows usual information like current fuel economy, cruising range and eco monitor. And then there are things like messages and general setting of the display.
