Overview

Road signs are basically a way of communication with drivers. A driver must know the purpose of the sign to follow the traffic rules. The violation of traffic rules is not acceptable in any state. Every driver must know the meaning of each sign.

Every state has made strict rules for the violation of traffic rules and it is not acceptable to anyone. Make yourself familiar with these signs to prevent yourself from any incident and punishment.

Most of accident happens on roads due to the violation of traffic rules. Most of the new drivers never get the proper learning about driving and rules. Over time traffic control authorities have updated the rules according to the environment and the increasing number of vehicles on the road.

Basic Road Signs

Road signs and boards are in different colors according to the information need to deliver to drivers. Yellow boards are for warning signs, the red board is elaborate with prohibition signs, and the blue boards are informative signs. The basic road signs you must know and that are helps you to drive carefully are here:

It’s pertinent to mention here the prohibited signs are symbol in a red circle with a diagonal cross through. But if the board is just showing the image without any prohibited sign road is open for you.

This sign is to warn the drivers that do not turn left or right. drivers should follow it according to t the sign board.

Motorcycles and cycles entry are prohibited if you saw this sign on the way you are going.

In some areas, goods vehicle entry is prohibited due to some security risks. A driver can recognize it through the symbol which clearly shows good vehicles are not allowed.
