Toyota IMC canceled the bookings of approximately 1300 vehicles in a bid to filter out ON system and to diminish its car delivery time .It got a lot of admiration from local automobile enthusiasts and analysts. And now the latest news is that the company is starting to refund approximately PKR 600 million to those who had booked a car however their orders were canceled. All these new steps are taken to fulfill the requirement of genuine buyers.

The company looked at the pending Provisional Booking Orders (PBO) and established the PBO information, customer’s identification, and other details. After that they found difference in the orders of many buyers who were potential investors. As per an official, upon audit, the company canceled the booking of 1,118 customers owing to the discrepancy, whereas only 170 came out as potential and genuine buyers.
Apart from canceling already booked cars IMC Toyota has also parted itself from some of its 3S dealers, which were caught up in malicious practices. The company in a public notice said,
“We continuously strive to facilitate our customers and believe that this step will help us to improve the availability of your desired Toyota vehicle and shorten the delivery period for genuine customers.”

Additionally, it is related to talk about here that IMC Toyota receives over 5000 car orders per month and most of them being ordered by big businesses that tempt customers by presenting them fast delivery time, not supported by the company itself. So these measures were need of the hour. Toyota is absolutely a step ahead when measure up to to other carmakers in Pakistan. So when it comes to escalating customer loyalty and servicing genuine buyers it is always takes lead.
