Indus Motor Corporation (IMC) has increased the prices of its car with the welcome of the new year 2020 by PKR 20,000. Recently Pak Suzuki increased it’s car prices without mentioned any reason. IMC also did not mention any reason behind the increase in its car prices. The strength of the dollar does not increase against rupee value and the government did not impose any extra tax on local car manufacturers.
Previously auto manufacturers increased car prices because of taxes and increasing dollar strength. This time the increases in car prices by auto manufacturers shows that company’s recover its previous loss. Last year auto manufacturers face severe issues in sales. Even auto manufacturers were not recovering their cost of products. Here are the new prices for Toyota cars:
The car sales declined badly in 2019 and the auto industry of Pakistan suffer in the loss. Companies were closed their production plant for 10 to 15 days because they can’t bear their expenses. This year the hike in car prices shows that auto manufacturers recover their sales, with the new year the demand for vehicles increase in the auto market everyone wants to buy a new model of car.
