The upcoming range of Hyundai hybrid cars that are to be assembled in the country by the Nishat group is the most discussed topic in the automobile industry these days. The Nishat group has been preparing to enter the automobile industry since 2012. Nevertheless, it appears that the Government’s Automotive Police 2016-21 that was revealed in March last year provoked a boost to the sector as Hyundai supposedly went in collaboration with the Nishat Group after its relavation and the multi-talented industrial group had no doubts about grabbing the opportunity.

Before the announcement of the new line of cars, it was reported that the Nishat Group was having an investment of approximately $120 million. The purpose of investment was to develop an assembly plant near Faisalabad. Though, the biggest reason of conjecture then had been that both the joint venture partners have yet to come to a decision from which models to start production, cars with 800cc engines or 1000cc engines.

At the moment, it appears as if the Hyundai-Nishat partnership is striking at precisely what models they will be debuting once they begin production and link to the market. On the other hand, The Hyundai-Nishat website is something that is giving the car enthusiasts, potential buyers and observers of the market an idea of precisely which of Hyundai’s hybrid vehicles will be put together and launched by the Nishat Group.

The website shows four cars, two SUVs and two Sedans. The locally manufactured Hyundai cars are about to hit the markets are all going to be hybrid cars, which will signify they are fuel efficient and run on car batteries as contrasting to fuel up until the speed of 60 KPH. The presently available hybrid cars on the market are all Japanese reconditioned models counting the Toyota Prius and Toyota Aquas and the new Camry. These potential cars will be the first locally manufactured  hybrid models.

Hyundai Tuscon

The two SUVs exhibited on the web-site, that will naturally be tied in with a higher price tag are the Hyundai Creta and the Hyundai Tuscon. They should be anticipated to give sober competition to the present line of SUVs that are below the Toyota V8 level but still well-liked with customers with deeper pockets. These take in the Toyota Fortuner, Suzuki Vitara and the Honda BRV.

Conversely, the sedans will hit upon a little tough time to come into the market with the already well established Toyota Corolla and the Honda City to contend with. It is not apparent where precisely the price range for these cars will lie, but they are sold somewhere in the region of the 1 million mark in neighboring India. If Nishat can deal with keeping the prices down to the 1.5 million , then the current market can be likely to get some serious competition and Suzuki’s by now struggling try to join the Sedan market with the Ciaz might be totally obscured.

Hyundai Elantra
Hyundai Verna

Whatsoever verdict the Hyundai-Nishat partnership might take, one thing that is certain is that car enthusiasts will be waiting anxiously to spectulate what products they might come up with. The competition too will be departing back to the drawing boards, particularly given how local manufacturers have also picked up in bringing in the new products after the government’s 2016-21 policy and Nishat’s consequent entrance into the auto- industry.

Till then,Lets just wait and watch.Don’t forget to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
