The Motor Co Hyundai has released more details and a complete photo gallery of the face-lifted Elantra. This is technically an “Avante”, that said the global model of the car is expected to receive the same updates later this year. The KR specifications of the model have gone on sale today with an array of updates, beyond the subtle styling changes.
Avante/Elantra Updates:
The updated Avante/Elantra is the latest car with a built-in dashcam. It is mounted at the top of the windshield and sends footage to the infotainment screen or straight to your smartphone. Speaking of which the mobile running on the IOS or Android system can now double as a digital key. The owners of the Hyundai can lock and unlock the Elantra and share usage right with up to seven people.
Air cooling system (After-Blow):
The air cooling system of the Hyundai Elantra is called “After-Blow” to reduce mold growth. The company Hyundai unveiled the technology back in the year 2020 and what it does is it dries the air conditioning.
After the engine is turned off and the condensate on the evaporator drains naturally for about 25 to 30 minutes. After-Blow activates for 10 minutes dry the evaporator drains and any condensate leftover in the air passage. The AC of the Elantra automatically allows an influx of outside air during this time to prevent humidity from building up.
You don’t need to worry about turning to a car with a dead battery. Since there is a sensor that can sense when the battery is running low to stop the After-Blow from draining it completely. This system won’t be activated when outside temperatures are low. Or the Ac has not been used for an extended amount of time.
Elantra is available in the market with Specs:
In the market, The Elantra is available with a naturally aspirated 1.6-liter gasoline engine. This makes the maximum horsepower of 121 and 114 pound-feet (154 Nm) of torque. Buyers can also get a 1.6 LPi that can run on (LPG). The newly designed air curtains in the front bumper should marginally improve its fuel efficiency.
However, we are expecting the “Hyundai Elantra N” to get similar updates by the end of this year in 2024. Although! The existence of a new generation performance variant powered by a combustion engine has previously been confirmed by Hyundai.
