Today we are going to share the latest update, German motor vehicle manufacturer Volkswagen (VW) is working to produce a new hydrogen fuel cell vehicle (HFCV). The company claims that the car will be able to travel 2000 kilometers on a single fuel tank and will also be much cheaper than other current Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicles (HFCVs) in the market.
Volkswagen Works Secretly to Develop Hydrogen Car:

For this technology, Volkswagen recently submitted a patent application for a new hydrogen fuel cell design that will provide cars with a significantly extended range and will be more affordable than the ones already in use. Volkswagen (VW) Works Secretly to Develop Hydrogen Car is working to develop this technology. The new fuel cell’s patent application developed in association with Kraftwerk Tubes of Germany. Furthermore, this technology uses hydrogen to create energy for an electric motor.
How Does Hydrogen Fuel Cell Car work?

The large batteries of electric cars are stored electricity that is released according to the needs of the vehicle. In contrast, Hydrogen fuel cells are able to generate their own electricity. They use a fuel cell to convert hydrogen into energy and a high-pressure tank to store the hydrogen in gas form.
The company stated that the technology will be launched in a series of vehicles by 2026. The company plan to produce approximately 10,000 vehicles annually. With its development, VW will compete with existing HFCV advocates such as Toyota, Hyundai Motor Group, Honda, and others.
