The biggest bike makers in Pakistan particularly Yamaha, Suzuki, and Honda have a reputation for raising bike prices after a month or two.
The following are the price increases for each bike from Pakistan’s main three two-wheeler manufacturers by 2022
Yamaha Bike prices
Yamaha raised bike pricing for a record-breaking seventh time this year in an effort to close out 2022 on a high note. Prices have been raised up to Rs. 13,500, according to the facts. - The Yamaha YB125Z (Red/Black) price has increased by Rs. 12,000, and it now costs Rs. 305,500, up from Rs. 293,500 before.
- The new pricing of Yamaha’s second bike, the YB125Z-DX (Red/Blue/Black), is Rs. 327,000, up from Rs. 314,500. That is, the price has risen by Rs. 12,500.
- The third is the Yamaha YBR 125 (Red/Blue/Black), which has increased by Rs. 13,500 to a new price of Rs. 336,000 from the previous cost of Rs.322,500.
- Meanwhile, the revised pricing of the YBR125G (Red/Black) is Rs. 349,500, down from Rs. 336,000 before. This means that the price has increased by Rs. 13,500.
- The increased pricing of the Yamaha YBR125G (Matt Dark Gray) is Rs. 352,500, up from Rs. 339,000 before. As a result, you must pay an additional Rs. 13,500.
The latest price increases are unjustified, as usual. Although most motorcycles are manufactured and assembled in Pakistan, key components are imported by firms like Yamaha and Suzuki. Yamaha Pakistan imports parts such as engines, thus its rate is clearly linked to the dollar rate. Furthermore, import restrictions, especially those on CKD kits, may have hampered manufacturing, resulting in a price hike.
Suzuki Bike Prices
Meanwhile, Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has announced 5 increases totaling up to Rs. 70,000.
- The Suzuki GD110S price has increased by Rs. 45000, and it now costs Rs. 244,000 up from Rs. 199,000 before.
- The new pricing of the Suzuki GS150 second bike,, is Rs. 266,000 up from Rs. 215,000. That is, the price has risen by Rs. 51,000.
- Meanwhile, the revised pricing of GR 150 is Rs. 385,000 down from Rs. 315,000 before. This means that the price has increased by Rs. 70,000.
- The newly launched Suzuki GX 125 price remains the same.
Atlas Honda Bike Prices
Atlas Honda announced seven small bike increases in 2022, resulting in a total price rise of up to Rs. 80,400 this year.
- The Honda CD 70 price has increased by Rs. 26,600, and it now costs Rs. 121,500 up from Rs. 94,900 before.
- The new pricing of the Honda CD 70 Dream bike is Rs. 129,900 up from Rs. 101,500. That is, the price has risen by Rs. 26,600.
- Meanwhile, the revised pricing of the Honda Pridor is Rs. 161,900 down from Rs. 130,500 before. This means that the price has increased by Rs. 31,400.
- The most famous Honda CG 125 bike price difference is 33,400. The old price is 152,500 and the new price is 185,900.
