As the world move towards the electric vehicles, with the cutting-edge array of hybrid and electric vehicles, Honda also intends to to switch to all-electric vehicles. But for the time being, it is focusing its efforts on expanding its lineup of hybrid vehicles. The automaker said that it would rely on its hybrid models with a petrol-electric system until the infrastructure is ready to support more EVs on the roads. It believes that hybrids will help consumers transition to EVs in the future.
Honda Electrified Vehicles:

Honda’s CEO outlined the company’s vision for global sales of electrified vehicles. according to him, the company plans to sell 40 percent of battery-electric and fuel cell electric vehicles by 2030, increasing to 80 percent by 2035. The automaker sell 100% zero-emission vehicles by 2040 that will effective in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. In this electrification strategy, Honda will represent the top and best performing models in its Hybrids lineup.
Honda Collaboration and Investment:

In the latest updates, The automaker notified that it plans to make joint venture with General Motors and Sony and intends to launch an affordable Electric Vehicle market. It said that it would invest about $40 billion over the next decade to launch 30 BEVs around the world. Thus, the company claims that it has a solid business structure as Honda is very much in love with hybrid vehicles and plans to continue to promote them.
