Honda , One of Japan’s leading automaker ,is recalling around 900,000 minivans as the company received reports on the subject of people caught up in injuries owing to the problem in seats in the second row .It is causing the seats to move forward if not latched correctly.It has received around 46 complaints regarding the issue .According to Honda, the second seat of Odyssey minivan might move forward during heavy or even moderate application of brake if not correctly latched subsequent to adjusting the seat side to side. Nevertheless, if the seat is sufficiently latched the seat will not move forward.

The recall comprises of vehicles from 2011 to 2017. Honda is presently working on a way to repair the issue and will inform the owners of the recall via email by late December. So far the company has uploaded instructions on its website for its customers, telling how to latch the seat subsequent to adjusting it to stay away from any kind of injury.

Formerly, the company was in threat because of using Takata airbags in its vehicles. Back in March and April 2017 , Honda Pakistan launched airbag replacement campaign in the country for its customers. Honda came under callous inquiry and criticism as a result of this matter.

It would be significant to mention here that Honda might also re-recall some vehicles to inspect and properly put in replacement airbag inflators that have been fixed improperly. The first recall was made subsequent to the Takata airbag issue. Takata has now gone bust owing to all the legal battles and compensations and filed for bankruptcy in June 2017.

Despite the Honda, another Japanese automaker Nissan lately opened its production centers in Japan after closer because of the revelation that uncertified technicians did the final inspection of its cars.
