FAW is all set to launch a new crossover SUV in China, with a name tag of T086. Last week a three-quarter frontal picture of exterior and a picture of interior was posted on Chinese portals, at the present though the latest crossover can be seen from all angles.
Supposedly the T086 has been created in collaboration with a Spanish design firm, and it does appears to be an inspiring vehicle. It has FAW’s signature front grille with an intrepid chrome strip reaching both the headlights and a big FAW winged logo at the front. The sporty bumper design and double five spoke rims creates a beautiful vehicle. The all-black interior looks remarkable with silver flourishes.
The rear-end of the vehicles has been uneiled to the first time and it is as remarkable as the front of the car. The backlights are linked to each other whereas the bumper has black cladding under giving it an additional sportier look. For some basis the emblems on the vehicle were kept covered, which is almost certainly due to the fact that the T086 can either be placed under the Junpai sub brand, or the recently introduced Jumpal range of vehicles.
The T086 will come equipped with a panoramic sunroof, EPB (electric parking brakes) by means of Auto Hold, intelligent networking capabilities, AEB (autonomous emergency braking) collision avoidance system, six airbags , ESC (electronic stability control) and 18-inch alloy wheels etc.
FAW T086 will also be equipped with a 1.2T turbocharged direct injection engine , with 143 horsepower and hit the highest torque of 204 Nm. Supposedly the engine is mated to 5-speed manual and a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox. The T086 will create its official debut at the 2018 Beijing Auto Show in April, whereas it will likely go on sale in China towards the third quarter of 2018.
