When the motorway was first built there is no restriction for bikers 500 cc bikes are allowed to ride through motorway but after some time there were some reasons happened to ban bikes on the motorway. But know the biker’s community continuously negotiate with National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) to allow the heavy bikes to ride through motorway and finally the agreement has been passed and heavy bikes allowed to ride through the motorway.
National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) also warned that if any bike rider crosses the rules of motorway there is no favor give him from National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP). National Highways and Motorway Police also make some rules for bike riders.
- Create a specific age limit to ride on the bike through motorway below the age of 30 years will allow riding through the motorway.
- Only 600 cc bikes are allowed to ride through the motorway.
- Driver and the pillion passenger both are compulsory to wear a helmet.
- Over speeding is not allowed.
- Motorbike riding will be allowed during the light hours only.
- Only one pillion passenger allow
- The maximum speed limit allows on the motorway will be 100km/h.
- The rider must have a valid driving license
- Motorbike must be a valid number plate
