Overview
Sazgar Engineering Works Ltd (SEWL) has announced a price rise for Haval H6 in Pakistan in response to the Federal Government’s raised General Sales Tax in order to meet the International Monetary Fund’s demands (IMF).
According to the information, SEWL has increased the price of the Haval H6 1.5T, Haval H6 2.0T, and Haval HEV in Pakistan to accommodate for the Federal Government’s higher General Sales Tax (GST).
Haval H6 New Price in Pakistan
The new price of the H6 1.5T is Rs. 8,525,000, which is Rs. 76,000 more than the previous price of Rs. 8,449,000.
H6 2.0T now costs Rs. 9,749,000 rather than Rs. 9,69,000 due to an increase of Rs. 100,000.
For the H6 HEV, this has risen by Rs. 100,000 to Rs. 11,095,000 from its previous price of Rs. 10,995,000.

Sazgar Engineering Gives the Reason For Price Increasing
Sazgar Engineering was the fourth company to raise its prices, and these changes were predicted following the adoption of an additional 1% GST in the mini-budget.
The other auto industries will follow since they must collect the tax from customers because it goes into the government’s purse. The present government party enforced this additional tax in order to meet the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) requirements for the following loan.
