Government Reduce Petrol Prices from 1st May

Petrol prices reduce in the international market due to the low demand. The government reduce petrol prices from 1st May.

Previously the government reduces petrol prices in March. In this current pandemic situation, the reduction in petrol prices is a relief for the public. The government extends lock-down till 9th May. Here are the reduced petrol prices:

  • The price of petrol reduces by PKR 15 per liter new price is Rs 81.58 per liter.
  • The price of high-speed diesel cut-down by PKR 27.15 per liter new price is Rs 80.10 per liter.
  • The price of light-speed diesel slashed by PKR 15 per liter new price is Rs 47.51 per liter.
  • The price of kerosene oil reduces by PKR 30.01 per liter new price is Rs 47.44 per liter.

The above decreases prices applied from 1st May as per the federal government orders. The debate to reduce the petrol price start from last two week after its decrease in the international market.

The government provides all its possible relief to the people in this critical situation. This is also a good time for the government to store oil for the future.
