For the people of Punjab vehicle registration is at the doorstep step which is the least convenient authorities can offer. Punjab Excise Department offers multiple opportunities for citizens to get registration. And to protect them from inconvenience they announced digital card access to reduce hustle.
The announcement has been released through a social media platform. The post department announced that citizens who applied for vehicle registration but didn’t get registration can get digital one. The digital car system is easy to keep because it can be saved on your mobile device which is always with us.
How To Download Vehicle Registration Digital Card
As per the details of the social media posts, for digital cards candidates have to visit the link. Open the website and enter registration details including the chassis number to get a virtual card. This is “Punjab’s first e-title document, E-Registration card”. The card is easy to download on the mobile to keep it with you every time.
Doorstep Vehicle Registration
The other initiative moves toward the convenient system they announced “Dehliz” app which will be used for doorstep vehicle registration. A senior person in the Excise Department explained that the App is available on our website and very soon it will be accessed on the Google App Store. At an earlier stage, we only offer the service for Lahore citizens but very soon it will cover different cities.

How Doorstep Service Works
The doorstep service will work very conveniently. Citizens have to get an online appointment. They function in different services like new registration and transfer. Book an appointment online for your purpose. After an appointment, a rider from the Excise department will visit you at home to collect documents and complete biometric verification. Candidates have to pay fees online and the Excise rider will issue a PSID. Handed over the registration file and will explain the further process. For auction and imported vehicles, a rider will take the file back to the offer to proceed with the further steps.
