The prime minister of Pakistan aims to produce electric cars can save Rs. 109 Billion every year. Electric Vehicle Policy brings a lot of benefit for the economy it will reduce the import of fuel and save the country from the tax of fuel and it will also helpful for the environment.
Using an electric vehicle will help to save fuel of Rs. 54.5 billion per year. the Electric Vehicle Policy aims to boom the supply of Electric vehicle in the country and touches to sold 90 percent electric vehicle in the country by 2040.
This policy prepared by the Ministry of Climate Change and they set the multiple targets including to sale 100, 000 electric cars, vans, jeeps and small trucks in the next five years and this is not enough ministry have the aim to sell 60,000 electric vehicles in the country on annual basis. The ministry has the plan to reduce the usage of fuel in the country to save from the over the import of fuel.
