Ghandhara Nissan Limited has resoluted to have a comeback in Auto Market with technical assistance by Nissan Motor Co. Nissan now manufactures vehicles in 20 countries in the region of the world, including Japan.

A delegation headed by Ahmed Kuli Khan Khattak, CEO, M/s Ghandhara Nissan Limited visited BOI and met up with Secretary, BOI Azher Ali Choudhry.

Ahmed Kuli Khan clued-up the Secretary, BOI that M/s. Ghandhara Nissan Limited was built-in on August 8, 1981 in Pakistan as a Private Limited Company and consequently transformed into public limited company on May 24, 1992. The manufacturing of vehicles was commenced in December 1996; on the other hand the assembly plants stayed inactive/ non-operational since 2010.

An elaborated presentation was given to the Secretary, BOI on Datsun Car manufacturing scheme in Pakistan with investment of Rs 4.5 billion in the first four years of its procedure. This project will generates 1,810 job opportunities in Pakistan.

The Secretary greeted the delegation and highlighted the investment policy and incentives accessible in Pakistan. Azher Ali Choudhry, Secretary, BOI thanked Ahmed Kuli Khan Khattak, CEO, M/s Ghandhara Nissan Limited and his delegation to enhance investment in Pakistan.
