The electric cars are the future of every automaker . Companies like Tesla have seen some enormous success in this consideration. Conversely conventional automakers like GM, Nissan and BMW are spending and investing in their research and development plus infrastructure to be able to produce reliable and cheap electric vehicles.

Where we see Western automakers spending on new electric technologies, not many would know that Chinese are spending equally if not more in these new sorts of automobiles. The Chinese government not only presents huge subsidies but also help in research and development if you are paying attention in making/producing electric cars.

It was only an affair of time when someone would bring one in Pakistan too. We by now have conventional Chinese automobiles in Pakistan; from FAW cars to Foton to Zotye and a few more. And now someone has brought Chinese electric cars in Pakistan as well.
The cars in query are Shifeng D101. In a global aspect, Shifeng is not precisely a giant. But they are very active in the production of electric cars in China and use up most of their research and development on electric vehicles. As a group, generally speaking, they manufacture other products; from tractors to other farm machinery to LCVs to tires and a lot more.

Shifeng makes as many as eight models of small city electric vehicles. The D101 model is their five doors and four-seat hatchback model. The in general dimensions of Shifeng D101 are 3465×1530×1485 mm (L×W×H).
