Today we are going to share with you the latest update, China has recently overtaken Germany to become the world’s second-largest exporter of vehicles. As per data released by the China Association of Automotive Manufacturers (CAAM), China’s automobile exports totaled 301,000 vehicles in September 2022, up 73.9 percent from the last year. The monthly export volume of Chinese vehicles has exceeded 300,000 vehicles Since August this year.
During the first three quarters of 2022, China exported a total volume of 2.117 million vehicles, compared to Germany’s 180,000 exports. By volume, China is now second only to Japan, the world’s largest exporter of vehicles.
China World’s Second-Largest Vehicle Exporter:

Japan and Germany have historically been the largest exporters of vehicles worldwide. With more than 30% of Japan’s total exports since 2013, the United States has been the country that imports the most Japanese cars, followed by China and Australia. Furthermore, German cars dominated the European market, followed by the US, Canada, and China.
According to the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), Chinese automakers exported 193,000 vehicles to Europe in the first eight months of this year, and that number is expected to grow rapidly as more Chinese companies enter the European market. By the end of this year, A Chinese automaker BYD targeted to operate in over ten European nations, while NIO targeting to enter four of them by the end of 2025. Furthermore, both companies are constructing countless battery swap stations all across Europe.
China Exported Vehicles:
Chinese automakers such as Great Wall Motors, BYD, Leapmotor, Voyah, MG, Xpeng, and GWM all seemed to be showcasing their most recent electric vehicles at the 2022 Paris Motor Show and the overwhelming reception they received has already unnerved European automakers. Chinese cars are getting good attractive to European buyers due to their reduced cost, near-negligible maintenance requirements (for electric vehicles), and remarkable feature offerings. These cars also claim full 5-star crash test ratings under Euro NCAP’s most exacting testing protocols.

Following analysis of data, China exports automobiles to the top 10 nations including the United States, Mexico, Japan, Belgium, Britain, Russia, Germany, South Korea, Australia, and Saudi Arabia.
