Chery Automobile hosted the “Yaoguang 2025” Technology Day brand event on September 16 where Chery celebrated its 25th anniversary showcased. During this event, Chery Auto unveiled the GENE brand concept car. Future-oriented technologies have introduced, showcasing Chery’s most recent development successes in areas like energy, intelligent connection, and autonomous driving. We may anticipate these outcomes together as they have anticipated to mass-produced in the near future.
GENE Concept Car:

The GENE highlights the original design strength of Chinese independent auto brands across a number of domains, including design, experience, and ecosystem. In particular, the Gene visualizes the link between the metaverse and the future car with the help of Chery’s exclusive Galaxy environment and other cutting-edge technology.
According to Chery, the GENE concept car is the company’s main focus this time. Its goal is to investigate the potential family design language for Chery automobiles. The concept vehicle has an electric motor and runs on solar power.
GENE Concept Electric Car’s production Purpose:

The GENE concept aims to represent the brand and reinforce the “Chery Ring” concept by symbolizing the Chery logo. It’s named the ring because the ring body entirely encircles the exposed base part of the entire car, passing by the logo, lights, radar, rear-view mirror, electric door handle, taillights, and tail badge.
Design of the Concept Car:

The GENE SUV concept is extremely cutting-edge in terms of design, and the logo made out of a three-layer circular construction. The concept car’s external lights have dual-mode switching that may be switched between, real mode (real-active driving) and meta-universe mode (meta-autonomous driving). The overall size of the concept includes 5 meters in length 2 meters in width and 1.75 meters in height. The prototype car features four separate seats inside, so-called suicide doors, and a packed-in electric skateboard in the back among other things.
Cabin Comfortability:

The seat gives the driver a comfortable driving position while the steering wheel stays near to them during the normal driving mode. The steering wheel will actively move away from the driver when in Meta mode to enable automated driving. It will also have virtual reality glasses (VR) hidden under the steering wheel, and the seat will automatically adjust to a semi-reclining mode after the passenger wears the glasses, providing comfort for the virtual experience. The central control features a curved 27-inch embracing screen and Chery’s interactive “Galaxy Ecosystem to provide all information during the driving.
