Chery Automobile Corporation Limited China’s largest automobile company has a partnership with Gandhara Nissan to manufacture Chery Tiggo SUVs in Pakistan. The company unveiled various SUVs in Pakistan but for a while, the company disappeared. Now Chery Pakistan is coming back fast.
Chery Pakistan Statement:
On the same day, after the launch of Changan’s first crossover SUV Changan Oshan X7, Chery Pakistan posted a photo on social media that stated “that was a good move but not extraordinary”. The caption is “All good things come to those who wait! Experience the real future of driving and extraordinary power. Coming soon near you”. Chery Pakistan did not mention any company name but it seems that the company targeted the Oshan X7. These posts indicate the arrival of its Tigoo crossover in Pakistan.
Crossover Chery Tiggo 8 Pro:
Upcoming Tiggo 8 is a mid-size 7-seater SUV with a 1.6L TGDi engine that is mated with a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) and generates 194.4 horsepower and 290Nm torque. It has an 18-inch alloy wheel and three driving moods.
Styling and Safety Features:
The exterior is equipped with LED headlamps, LED rear lamp and DRLs, panoramic sunroof, roof rails, and 6-way electronically adjustable leather seats. Tiggo 8 also has a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, dual-zone automatic climate control, 6 airbags, cruise control, rear parking sensor, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill-start Assist Control(HAC), and Hill Decent Control (HDC), ABS with EBD, automatic driving assistance system.
Chery Tiggo 8 Official Launch Date:
As per the report, expected that it will be launched in the 2nd or 3rd quarter of 2002, but the company has not yet announced the official launch date of Chery Tiggo 8 in Pakistan.
