Why Changan Car Prices Increased

Changan offers a variety of locally assembled vehicles in Pakistan. The vehicles by the company get massive popularity in the local automobile industry in a very short time. The company has never let the customers with confusion, why they increased the car prices. The Changan Pakistan Director of Sales and marketing Syed Shabbiruddin has said 70% to 80% imported steel is required to made-up a typical passenger car. He said due to COVID-19, the global shipment cost has gone up and we have no other way left to increase the cost of production to continue serving our customers. The fallout of the rising shipment cost and steel prices is the reason for the car price increase. Moreover, he said the company hoped that dealers will understand the situation and better explain it to customers.

This is the only option to continue production by increasing the made-up cost. The increasing of these costs putting pressure on the automakers to increase the prices of the cars. The prices f cars can be stable when the exchange rate and other factors will be stable that affect the cost.
