Cars Sales falls in Pakistan | Pama Report

The sales of cars fall in Pakistan contentiously down from the last few months, recently Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) published a report on cars sales of July 2019, and in this report, the sales of cars fall by 42%.

The market of the auto industry is going down no little improvement happened from the last 2 months and this is a worrying sign for the auto manufacturers and also not good for the economic purpose. The total units are sold in July are 12,482 and the last year the same period local auto industry sold 21,344 units.

The sales of cars fall because of many reasons like the prices of cars increase, taxes increase, currency devaluation. These are the reasons that directly affect the sales of cars. Last year the car prices are less than and taxes are not imposed on all cars.

Honda & Toyota Sales:

Honda Atlas Company and Toyota Indus Motor Company are the two biggest auto manufacturers in our country and these two companies are suffering in loss because of the taxes, duties and currency devaluation.

The best selling cars of Honda are Honda City and Civic, but the sales of Civic and City fall by 68% as compared to the same period last year in July 2018, only 1452 units sold of both cars in July 2019.

Toyota Corolla is the most demanded car off the market but this month July 2019 only 1981 units sold and last year July 2018 company sold 4566 units and it shows the sales of Corolla decline by 57%.

Pak Suzuki Report:

Pak Suzuki is in ups and downstage if the Sale of Suzuki Wagon R down the other side the launching of Suzuki Alto 2019 hit he market highly. The sales of Wagon R is down badly company face a 70% loss in the sale of Wagon R as compared to the July 2018 but the new entrants Alto 2019 give the impressive response to the company as compared to the sale of Mehran last year. The total units of Alto sold in July 2019 are 4584 and this is showing positive response by consumers and the last year July 2018 the total units of Mehran sold in the market was 3437.

Pickups/SUVs Report:

There is no difference in the sales of SUVs, it’s also down in July 2019. Toyota Hilux sales down by 48% its means last year July 2018 company sold almost double units as compared to this month July 2019 and this is the most demanded vehicle of the market.

The sales of Fortuner contentiously down this month July 2019 the sale of Fortuner down by 68%.

The SUVs of Honda also fall the month of July 2019 the sales of Honda BR-V down by 34% as compared to the previous year of July 2018.

The most wanted vehicle D-Max sales also down badly only 61 units of D-Max company sold in July 2019.

All of these shows that the overall sale of cars falls and this fiscal year the auto sector decline badly its also affect the economy because the auto sector is one of the biggest sectors of the country.
