Inauguration Showroom in New Delhi:
In the presence of senior representatives from BYD India and Landmark BYD, the BYD Showroom Delhi has inaugurated by Garima Misra, Managing Director of Group Landmark, Rajiv Vohra, Director of Group Landmark, and a Senior Vice President of Electric Passenger Vehicle Business of BYD India Sanjay Gopalakrishnan.
State-of-the-art 3S BYD Showroom Delhi:
The latest 3S BYD showroom in Delhi one of the largest BYD dealerships in India spread across 6,600square feet. In addition, to provide customers with the best possible in-store experience, Okhla Industrial Hub has fully trained employees, service equipment, service bays, EV charging stations, a customer lounge area, and a showroom display floor. Landmark’s cost to set up the Delhi showroom is around Rs 3 crore.
Senior Vice President of EPV Business of BYD Statement:
Sanjay Gopalakrishnan, Senior Vice President, Electric Passenger Vehicle Business said, New Delhi has enormous potential for premium passenger vehicles and plans to install an additional 18,000 charging stations by 2024. Moreover, In the city, there should be one station for every 15 electric vehicles. This gives the EV sector a significant boost.
BYD’s passenger vehicle lineup currently consists only of the e6 MPV which introduced in India late last year. The front wheels of the e6 are driven by an electric motor with a battery capacity of 71.7 kWh. It produces 94 horsepower and 180 Nm torque and has a WLTC range of up to 520 km.
