Battery life, Range, and Charging of BMW iX:
The BMW iX sports a large battery pack of 105.2 kWh that EPA estimates will easily offer up to 320 miles of driving range on a charge. Normally the range of the Electric SUV reduces on the highway but the new Ix recorded an impressive 290 miles of range in a test.
With the DC fast charging capability, the new BMW iX can recharge from zero to 70 percent in just 33 minutes when hooked up to the 200-kW connection.
BMW has partnered with the EVgo to provide a network of public charging stations for the iX drivers. The SUV can get charged on popular networks, as well as through a level 2 home charging station.
Fuel Economy:
The EPA estimates that the most efficient BMW iX is one equipped with standard 20 inches wheels. The SUV has earned a rating of 86 MPGe in the City and 87 MPGe on the highway. On our 75-mph highway fuel economy route the iX managed 81 MPGe results. But the SUV provided an excellent 290 miles of range.
Interior and Comfort of the BMW iX:
The new SUV is about the same size as the company’s mid-size X5 and beautiful BMW X6 crossovers. Their passenger and cargo space is similar as well.

The interior design of the iX is simple and modern at the same time, including a large curved screen instrument pane and a hexagonal-shaped steering wheel.
The power front seats are heated and feature integrated speakers for the iX stereo system. Faux leather and genuine leather upholsteries are offered in BMW iX.
Infotainment and Connectivity system:
The new iX was originally the Launchpad of BMW’s iDrive 8 infotainment software. But the software allows for the customization of Graphics and menus, in addition to the voice-activated assistant.
The large 14.9 infotainment display is combined with the 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster to create the iX tech. BMW’s infotainment can support Apple Car Play and Android Auto which are standard across the board. While the BMW also offers a Wi-Fi Hotspot with a 5G connection.
Safety and Security features:
The BMW offers a comprehensive set of standard driver-assistance features in the iX variant. Which includes parking sensors, automatic high-beam headlamps, lane-keeping assist systems, and autonomous emergency braking.
Conclusion:
The BMW iX is an Electric SUV that comes with a sporty look and ranges in the most luxurious car section globally. The BMW always stands out in his words; the overall design of the new BMW iX is tremendous and futuristic. However, the price of the SUV is much more costly.
