As per media resources, the government has decided to impose two criteria regarding vehicles and gasoline. Following the latest price spike, citizens asked that the government reduce government officials’ and lawmakers’ fuel and vehicle advantages. The provincial and federal governments have taken a number of actions in response to this pressure. These conditions are as follows:

  • Purchases of government vehicles have prohibited, signifying that the government would not purchase any new vehicles for officials or departments.
  • In addition, the government’s and cabinet members’ petrol quotas have reduced by 40%.

Government employees’ fuel quotas have reduced by the provincial governments including Punjab, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Moreover, the government has reduced the petroleum quotas by 40 % for provincial ministers, and government officials. Sindh’s chief minister said, the public coffers should not bear the full burden of a fuel hike, because burdening the treasury implies burdening the public.

Furthermore, we expect that these conditions will have literally executed. The burden on the people and the national budget can be reduced if it is implemented properly. Share your thoughts, what you say about it?
