BAIC BJ40 Plus is on the way and very soon the company will start the booking. The company has announced to start booking BJ40 Plus very soon in Pakistan by its official Facebook page. This is the first unit by the company that will introduce in Pakistan under the greenfield status. The local partner of BAIC, Sazgar has posted a video of its production plant tour, that confirms production has begun. However, the booking of only BAIC BJ40 Plus confirms by the company while the remaining units are under production.

BAIC BJ40 Plus Launching Hints
The exciting news is, the company has hinted that this off-road jeep is very near to launch in Pakistan. The announcement related to its booking confirms the production of the vehicle will be in the final steps. BAIC BJ40 Plus is very similar to the Jeep Wrangler. The company has said this will be the best off-roader in Pakistan as Sazgar called this vehicle “ the king of off-road in Pakistan”. On hint of BAIC announcement, we can expect the vehicle will launch at the last of 2021 or the start of 2022. However, wait for the other announcement of this off-roader launching as it can’t be confirmed until the official news.

BAIC BJ40 Plus Details
The vehicle is equipped with 2.0 liters turbo engine and will come in both options diesel and petrol engine. It can produce 218 hp and 270 Nm of torque. Both engines diesel and petrol mated with 6-speed automatic transmission. The company has the plan to introduce petrol engine first then diesel. The launching of this SUV will cover the huge attention of consumers. Meanwhile, the specifications and features have not been revealed yet, all the detailed information about this off-roader will be disclosed very soon.

BAIC Other Production Plan
BAIC has prepared ways to introduce its line-up vehicles in Pakistan in which hatchback and crossover SUVs are included. The company has got the greenfield status from the government and will introduce vehicles under the status. Although, in the earlier update company has only mentioned starting booking of BJ40 Plus, while the other units remain not disclosed. Sazgar will soon update officially about the line of SUV, X25 Crossover, and D20 hatchback. It sounds great, company has a plan to introduce luxury and affordable cars in the local market. On the earlier notice by the company on 27th August, they informed the Stock Exchange Pakistan “the trial operation has complete” and the company will move on to the commercial production from 1st September 2021. The release news about the booking of BAIC BJ40 Plus has confirmed that production has been already commenced.
