Changan is a Chinese automotive brand and working with master motors in Pakistan. Master motors presenting Changan vehicles in Pakistan and now they are going to introduce a most awaited Alsvin sedan by Changan. With the 70% investment of Master Motors Changan has established its auto plant in Karachi that can manufacture 30,000 units annually. This is the first plant of Changan that will manufacture the Right-Hand Vehicles not only for Pakistan but also export is SAARC and Asian Countries.

Pakistan Auto Development Policy (2016-2021)
Pakistan’s Auto Development Policy gives fruitful benefits to our country. The development of new vehicles and the entrance of new automakers in Pakistan’s local auto market increase production. In the coming year, Pakistan will be a country that can export its vehicle to other countries. Under the Auto Development Policy electric and hybrid vehicle production is also on the way and specific safety features are compulsory for every vehicle.
The Ministry of Science and Technology earlier announced that every vehicle will be manufactured under high safety standards and prices will never increase. The development of auto policy is a need of our country because we are very far behind from the international level. Alsvin CBU Import
Recently Master Motors (local partner of Changan) has import CBU of Alsvin Sedan from China. Around two dozen cars have been imported in Pakistan. Most probably the company has imported these cars to display in dealerships and for sales purposes. Maybe the plant of its vehicle manufacture in Pakistan not starts working properly.
However, it’s not confirmed yet the CBU units of Changan Alsvin RHD or LHD. The company has started its social media campaign and marketing of Alsvin with some pictures shows these are RHD cars.

Engine & Transmission
The sedan will offer two engine power options in Pakistan 1.4L and 1.5L and both are VVT 4 cylinders. The 1.4L Alsvin engine can produce 99HP and 135Nm of torque. However, the 1.5L engine power sedan can produce 106HP and 145Nm of torque. As per the company statement, the engine is very classy in fuel efficiency. The transmission of both variants is not the same 1.4L variant have offers a 5-speed manual transmission and the 1.5L is offered a 5-speed wet DCT.

Exterior
The body style of Changan Alsvin is not much designed as the expectation. The car is designed with a simple and decent look. The front side of the sedan is designed with two grille height-adjustable halogen projector headlights are equipped at the front grille and DRL are attached with lower bumper. Alsvin never offers fog lights in both variants. The sedan is styled with body-color side mirrors and door handles. However, there are not many edges and stylish cuts on the sedan that makes it sharper and for comparison with Toyota Yaris and other sharp style sedans in the local market. The sedan will also offer Sharkfin Antenna.

Interior
On the outside, the inside of the cabin is also simple and decent. The sedan does not offer a stylish interior. The dashboard and door panels are injected with plastic. However, the features are:

Price
Till the launching, the price of the sedan can’t be confirmed but it’s expected that under these features company will offer manual transmission variant around Rs2.3million and the top variant will be offered in around Rs2.5million. However, it will be confirmed when the Master motors announced the launching date. The social media teaser shows that the sedan launching is very near.
