Overview
Last fortnight’s petrol price decision changed, and the new news brings another petrol price increase notification.
The previous notification to not increase petrol prices was a hope for citizens that the next time government will reduce petrol prices but it comes opposite. For next fortnight the petrol price increased by Rs. 10/liter. Meanwhile, the new price hike has not affected the high-speed diesel and light-speed diesel prices.
Unstable Petrol Prices Effects
Disturbed fuel rate makes several changes in the daily routine. The one major worry for citizens is increasing transportation charges. Several times transportation services change their prices which makes a hurdle for regular travelers. Meanwhile, petrol prices are also not economical for daily commuters. Motorbikes owners are also worried about the continued increase in fuel prices.
Traveling become very expensive in Pakistan in recent months. petroleum products affect the overall economy including goods cost. Due to the high fuel rates goods prices are affected. The seller charges a high amount from the customer to fulfill the cost of travel.
On the other side, citizens are waiting for the cheap petrol scheme government has announced for motorbike, rickshaw and car up to 800cc. This can be making them happy to balance the regular routine.
New Petrol Price
As per the new announcement of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, the new petrol rate is as follows:
- The new rate for petrol is Rs. 282/liter.
- Kerosene Oil price increased by Rs. 5.78/liter and the new price is Rs. 186.07/liter.
Conclusion
Unstable rates of petroleum products affect routine work. Every time the government has changed the prices citizens make their budget to manage monthly expenses. Fuel prices are just got surprised citizens and this is the first time in history that petrol prices increased that much in Pakistan. It is affected by several economical factors the most on the devaluation of the rupee against the dollar which makes the petrol trade expensive.
