Toyota removed the cover from the very pleasant and stylish SUV Toyota Yaris Cross hybrid. Toyota launched the B-segment SUV for the Indonesian market. The new entrance has more power and an attractive style than Toyota Raiz.
On the other side, Hyundai offers a comparative model Hyundai Creta for Indonesia to compete Yaris crossover hybrid. Hyundai Creta is built on Daihatsu’s New Global Architecture (DNGA).

Indonesia has two options for Yaris cross hybrid petrol and hybrid. One is naturally aspirated 1.5-Liter Dual VVT-I four-cylinder petrol engine and paired with 5-speed manual gear box. It is able to make 105 Hp and 138 Nm of torque. The petrol engine is Front Wheel Drive.
The hybrid variant is powered with a 1.5L 2NR-VEX naturally aspirated 4 cylinder which is able to make 90 hp and 121 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an electric-powered motor by a lithium-ion battery which makes 79 hp and 141 Nm of torque.
Yariss crossover is fully hybrid power and supported with full electric power to push enough power to the car.
Exterior and Dimension
Toyota keeps its signature cuts in the body of the new Yaris cross hybrid. The design language is similar to other Toyota crossover SUVs. Some noticeable material to discuss for the crossover is its front fascia flaunting, aggressive headlamps, a large grille, and fog lamps that caught some motivation from Toyota Highlander. Meanwhile, it has some inspiration from RAV4 as it has boxy wheel arches, a greenhouse, taillights, and a toned-up rear shoulder.

The ongoing Pakistan automotive situation is not in condition to offer Toyota Yaris cross hybrid. Last month Toyota Pakistan has launched Yaris Aero. It’s Yaris with new kits to make something new for the customers. Although Toyota has plan to launch Corolla Cross Hybrid in Pakistan and we heard about the car sometimes. But not any official news has confirmed the launch date and specifications of the crossover. Meanwhile, there are numbers of crossover SUVs in Pakistan but locally assembled hybrid models are really a need of automotive industry and customers.

Toyota Pakistan has no clue about introducing any hybrid or electric power in Yaris.
