The automotive industry suffering face is still continuing and it seems Honda Atlas has nothing to produce for a couple of weeks. Honda Pakistan recorded the lowest sale and production during this tough period and it continues. Honda has announced plant shut down continue for May 15.
Although the reason is clear to all of us Honda has mentioned the low availability of stock and restriction on LCs approval made disruption for the company to continue production. The ongoing condition of the Honda Atlas production shortage made this year worst.
From March 9, 2023, the Honda plant has been shut down. The company has extended shut down a third time due to no positive response against LCs approval. Meanwhile, the rise in prices also causes low sales and low production.
Honda Sale
Honda recorded a huge sale decline in the first quarter of the current year which ended on 31 March. The company has reported a huge decline ins ale of Honda BR-V and Honda Civic. In the month of March 2023, Honda reports not a single sale and production of the Honda Civic. The huge increase in car prices due to economic crises and rupee depreciation make automakers’ business suffer.
The highest loss Honda faced by Honda Civic sale. Because it was the top-selling model and most favorite car.
If the SBP still does not approve LCs Honda will not be able to continue production after May 15. As per our assumption. Because the current situation shows Honda is completely paralyzed to produce vehicles.
Conclusion
The economic crisis almost reverts automotive sales to the lowest stage. Honda was included in the top-selling car sales in Pakistan. and now they are suffering a huge loss for a couple of months. the situation for Honda becoming worst and worst. There is no approvement of the sale and still, the company is suffering in loss.
