Overview
Islamabad Capital Police Territory (ICPT) has decided to facilitate overseas Pakistani by issuing permanent driver’s license.
As per the report, Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah ordered the police chief to finalize the arrangements as soon as possible. The plan is organized to help ex-pat Pakistanis. For this order, the department is started working on establishing a facility at Faizabad’s new Traffic Head Office.
Authorities have passed orders to police and they already started working to establish the head office before the deadline. The modern program helps overseas to get a permanent license and no need for any hesitation.
Permanent Driver’s License Details
The purpose of this plan is to modernize the ICTP system and facilitate overseas Pakistani. Furthermore, Capital Police Officer (CPO) and Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) will follow the plan to launch this modern system in mid of May.
Moreover, Islamabad IGP Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan told the media that overseas can easily obtain an Islamabad driving license with their foreign driving license and previous record.
The driving license will offer after the short training course. Applicant must complete short training before receiving a license. Meanwhile, driving licenses will be renewed online by using biometric verification.
Conclusion
This would be a great opportunity and make Islamabad driving license system modern. Interior Minister has ordered to make of a proper system for this purpose on an urgent basis. This means there will be no delay in the launch of the system. And very soon overseas will have this opportunity to receive permanent driver’s license.
